The Taste of Fernie is Growing! You are invited to Fernie’s Event of the Year on Friday & Saturday September 14 & 15! Now in its eighth year, the Taste of Fernie festival is gearing up to be the fabulous community event that it renowned for.

New to the celebrations this year is a special BBQ Cook-off accompanied by tasting of fine wines and beer on Friday evening between 7 & 10pm. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss and at just $25 ticket – which allows access to Saturday’s celebrations – you can cast your ballet on the BBQ’d delights presented by budding chefs from the area.

The Taste of Fernie welcomes the Mountain Market Vendors for the first time this year. Known for their community flavour on summer Saturday’s, they will be showcasing their fall offerings along 2nd Avenue on Saturday between noon and 5pm.

In addition, more kid-friendly activities, between noon and 5pm on Saturday, are in the planning stages with tables of art, fun and creativity.

All in all, its shaping up to be the best, most entertaining celebration of food, music, art and family fun. So come on down to the heart of Fernie’s historic downtown on Friday, September 14 between 7 – 10pm and Saturday, September 15th from noon to 11pm. The event will take place in CP Station Square next to the Arts Station – 601 1st Avenue.
