.
Encaustic, which means to burn in, relates to the use of heat as the solvent for coloured waxes. Learn techniques starting with the simplest marks that a heated iron makes with the molten waxes, worked onto the sealed painting card surface. These basic effects are complied into abstracts, landscapes, fantasy scenes… Small class size so enroll now! 423-4842.
All tools and materials will be supplied for the workshop … all you need is your imagination. $45/person; $10 materials. For information contact ronda.
