An Illegitimate Body of Work is an exhibition exploring nature’s still lifes.
“There are trees, rocks and ridgelines that catch my attention daily while I am out walking my dog. When the opportunity came up for this show it seemed like the perfect time to explore painting these images that feature so prominently in my life” comments Tara.
Branching away from her usual subject matter of wildlife Tara ’s distinct brush strokes and strong sense of colour are used to express the juxtapositions of nature.
