Waiting for the Parade
Delve into the lives of five very different women during world war two, experience their struggles as each one copes with their personal dilemma’s to try to survive the war. The play is full humor and pathos as you are taken back to experience civilian life in 1940’s Calgary. Get a peak into what life was like for the women who stayed at home during the war. We see how their lives and relationships changed. The play examines the spirit and strength of community, and focuses on what one does to survive through hardships.
Written by John Murrell, the play is directed by Denise Baughan and the Big Dreamerz cast of Lindsay Adams, Denise Baughan, Lynda Byrd, Rebecca Hall and Rebekah Janecek together with The Station Players.
