Children

Here at The Arts Station we are keen as mustard to entertain our young artists in town! We have a variety of children’s workshops on offer, covering art, music and theatre. Check out the children’s page for more details on children’s workshops, forthcoming Children’s Theatre Group Productions and our 2011 Summer Camps.

Children’s Theatre Group
The Children’s Theatre Group started with a bang in 2008 with the mightily successful “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”. Since then the group have continued to entertain, bringing Robert Munsch’s tales and some Classic Fairy Tales to the stage in early 2009. The group, consisting of Sage McBride, Lindsay Adams and a dedicated troop of performers will not fail to entertain and ignite all ages.

Keep your eyes peeled for new productions in the Fall and Winter of 2011 – 2012. We’ve got a whole lot more up our sleeves.

2011 Kids Summer Camps
New this year is a registration partnership with The College of the Rockies. All Art Camps take place at The Fernie Arts Station, 601 1st Ave. All registrations to be made at the College. For more information, contact the College at 1.250.423.4691 or fernie@cotr.bc.ca.
