Fun, Casual Improvisation Workshops

Improvisation is lots of fun and easier than you think.  This is a “hands-on” workshop where you will learn the techniques that make improvisation work, and then put those techniques into action.  No prior experience is necessary, but those with an acting/performance background will especially benefit from learning the art of improvisation.
One of the aims of these workshops will be to build towards an improvisation performance in August, so please come UNprepared.

It’s that time of year again!  We invite you to come celebrate the fantastic year we have had!  On Thursday, May 24th at 7pm, join us at our AGM.  This is your chance to become actively involved on the FDAC Board of Directors as we have open positions we are looking for volunteers to fill.  Light refreshments will be provided during this event where we will review and vote on proposed by-law changes recommended by the current FDAC Board and get the full scoop on what the coming year will bring to the community.  We encourage you to review the potential by-law changes and proposed FDAC Board members prior to the meeting.  You can find the proposed updates if you click HERE.  We have also sent an email to all of our members with the changes but you can also stop by our office (Station Square, 601 1st Ave.) where we have the document on display on the Administrator’s office door.

Remember, only Arts Station members have the ability to vote so at 6:30pm, the doors will open and anyone looking to obtain or renew their membership can do so before the meeting begins.  Also, you can always come in and visit us at our office between now and then to renew your membership should wish to do it before the AGM.

The Early Bird Tickets for the 2nd Annual Wapiti Music Festival sold out in one day.  One day!!  If that is any indication of the great times and memories made at last year’s inaugural festival, just imagine the possibilities for it’s second time around!
