The Arts Station is pleased to announce a Call for Entry for 2022; ‘Out of the Box: A Dumpster Art Project’. Out of the Box is a public art initiative by the Arts Station in collaboration with GFL Environmental. Paint Battle: Out of the Box Dumpster Project Fundraiser

Call to Artists!! We are looking for artists to participate in a Paint Battle as a fundraiser for our Out of the Box Dumpster Project 2019. Artists will be painting on 24 x 36 in. canvases (provided) based on a theme that will be revealed on the night. You will have two hours to complete your piece, and the audience will determine the winner. Winner will receive a cash prize of $250. April 26th, Event starts at 10pm

Out of the Box Dumpster Project is a public art initiative by FDAC in collaboration with GFL Environmental. Out of the Box is a project in which commercial trash and recycling dumpsters are transformed into works of public art by regional artists. Paint Battle Artists!

Congratulations to Amanda Romanchuck, Dejana Lukac, and Abigail Steer-Christie for being selected for the Out of the Box Dumpster Project Fundraiser Paint Battle this April 26th, at the Royal! Amanda Romanchuk paints things that fuel her soul like mountains, animals and scenery. She’s adopted over the years more Aztec art and bold lines and bold colours. Working controversially in the ski industry and beauty industry she has worked and been exposed to many different types of canvases. Dejana Lukac, has been an artist all throughout her life, attending Alberta College of Art and Design and the University of British Columbia for Education.
