Opening October 27th, The Arts Station will be hosting a group exhibit “Time for Tea” until November 22nd. This exhibit will showcase ceramics by local potters from the elk valley. We will be accepting teapots, tea cups with accompanying saucers, and cream & sugar sets with an accompanying tray.
Deadline to Apply: October 5th, 2pm
This will be an excellent opportunity for art lovers to add to, or even start, their collection of handmade pottery.
We are looking for ceramic artists to submit their work!
This is a community art project for any Elk Valley Resident at any experience level.
Artwork must meet the following criteria:
- Meet the theme of “Time for Tea”
- Option to sell or display
- Must be original work
- Must be exhibit ready (ie. ready to display)
- Pieces for sale are subject to a 35% commission to FDAC or 25% commission for members
What the Adjudicators are looking for:
- All accompanying items must be present (ex. Teacup with saucer)
- Attention to form and surface design
- Originality and functionality
