Covid Plan January 2022

The following procedures are in place to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 and apply to all employees, visitors and contractors working for, with or around The Arts Station.

The Arts Station falls under multiple PHO orders and Government Restrictions which change regularly. We follow the BC Government Restrictions and PHO orders as they change even if they are not reflected in this plan. We defer to the BC government for the latest and accurate information. This plan will be updated accordingly.

Proof of vaccine

  • Proof of vaccine through QR code is required for the majority of activities at The Arts Station as required by the BC Government.

    • This includes all adult group activities.

    • If you choose to not disclose your vaccination status or are unvaccinated, we will attempt to accommodate on an individual basis during low usage times where proof of vaccine passport is not mandatory. Access is not guaranteed.

Covid expose, symptomatic, close contact or travel:

  • Covid 19 information

  • If you have covid and are fully vaccinated self-isolate for at least 5 days since the start of your symptoms. Wear a mask even in settings where a mask isn’t required and avoid higher-risk settings, such as gatherings, for another 5 days after ending isolation.

  • If unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, self-isolate for at least 10 days since the start of your symptoms.

  • If you don’t feel better after 5 or 10 days, keep self-isolating until you feel better and your fever is gone (without taking medicine that reduces fever).
