Emotional Expressions is a showcase of many unique artists’ impressions, interpretations and visual depictions of various feelings. Members of the Visual Artists’ Guild have chosen to explore and share their creative imagery of an emotion. Each artist, who resonates with a particular emotion, develops a concept that will attempt to visually communicate that feeling to the viewers of the artwork. Gallery visitors will enjoy seeing a variety of media and artistic styles that are represented in the guild. It is a credit to the guild that artists of such diverse backgrounds and aspirations are welcome and encouraged in their unique journey of visual expression.

Media such as acrylic, oil and watercolour paint, collage and mixed media are just some of the materials used by the guild artists to best convey their visual ideas. Viewers will also experience a wide range of artistic approaches, from realism to abstraction, as the artists reveal their vision, subject matter and emotions through their work.
