FDAC Board Director Opportunties
Nominations for Fernie & District Arts Council Board Directors has reopened with the election taking place at a Special General Meeting on October 14th.
Fill out the form below or submit in writing to the attention of the Governance committee by October 1st (2 weeks before the SGM).
All nominated potential Board members must be members in good standing and sign the consent form prior to nomination.
The next term for FDAC Directors is two years starting October 2021 until 2023.

Board Info
FDAC are looking to best serve the community and in order to do so we are looking for diverse and varying Board directors that reflect who the organisation represents. Those interested should be dedicated to providing their expertise to moving our mandate forward and providing opportunities to the entire community.
Succession planning is also a high priority so a strong focus on recruitment will be for new and younger voices looking to learn from the current experienced Board of Directors.
Qualities sought for 2021:
- Underrepresented individuals or groups.
- Experience with different art forms such as digital, new media & technical.
- Innovative approaches and ideas to provide diverse & engaging arts opportunities.
- Experience with Legal affairs or contracts.
These are desired qualities but not required for interested applicants. If you believe you have something to offer, do not hesitate to apply. Information provided will be included in a nomination package for members (Station Supporters) to read ahead of the meeting sent out on October 2nd.
