Gallery
The Gallery is free to visit and showcases emerging and developing artists from across the Elk Valley. Located in the entry hall of The Arts Station, the space features high ceilings, heritage details, and a welcoming atmosphere that highlights a wide range of art forms including visual art, photography, fibre art, pottery, and sculpture.
As a core program of the Fernie District Arts Council, the Gallery is supported through council funding and a small commission on artwork sales, helping sustain ongoing opportunities for local artists.

Exhibit with Us
The Arts Station encourages applications from artists of all backgrounds, identities, and disciplines. Our goal is to represent the full diversity of the Elk Valley’s cultural landscape through thoughtful, inclusive curation.
How Exhibitions are Selected
The Gallery is facilitated by the staff operational team in conjunction with the Gallery Selection Committee (an ad‑hoc independent jury created for each call for entry).
The committee selects up to eleven gallery shows per year, and each exhibition runs for one month.
