The Wednesday Socials are a summer tradition in Fernie, bringing free outdoor live music to Station Square every Wednesday in July and August. Performers have the opportunity to connect with an enthusiastic audience in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere that celebrates community and creativity.

Time: 5:30 -9PM
Location: Station Square, Fernie
What to Expect as a Performer:
A family-friendly environment with attendees of all ages
A welcoming, inclusive space for locals and visitors alike
A chance to perform alongside a lineup featuring unique Canadian musicians or bands, with a focus on diverse musical genres
A lively setting with a beverage garden featuring Fernie Brewing Company, BC Cider, and BC Wine, plus food trucks, local vendors, and a kids’ craft tent.
Performers are encouraged to share their music with a vibrant audience of 1000+ people who might discover their new favourite artists. This is an excellent chance to reach new audiences including locals and visitors to Fernie.
Feature performers should be able to carry a crowd. This event is loud and social!

A guaranteed fee
Accommodation (based on 2 performers sharing)
A meal buyout
Sound Tech & PA
We do not pay for travel so please include this is your artist fee and consider tour routes.
We have a two week radius (before and after the date) clause for Fernie so will not book a band that is already scheduled to play in the area. We are a small town and work with other venues/presenters.
We do not provide backline (amps, instruments etc other than a drum kit. Please include any additional items in your request which will be factored into the fee.
