Theatre
The Theatre is an open, flexible space on the main floor of The Arts Station. It features a stage, good accoustics and movable chairs & tables, perfect for performances, presentations, workshops, and community events. It comfortably accommodates up to 100 people in a theatre layout or up to 50 for a seated reception. The space is equipped with professional sound and lighting, as well as access to dressing room facilities.
About the Space
Accessibility
Located on the main floor, the Theatre is fully accessible. An accessible door with ramp access is available on the side of The Arts Station facing the Fernie Hotel. Accessible washrooms are also located on the main floor. If you have any accessibility needs, please get in touch.
Capacity
Accommodates up to 100 people in a traditional theatre‑style layout, or up to 50 people for a seated reception. Flexible seating and table arrangements make it easy to adapt the space for your needs.
Cost
Rental rate is $75/hr. For events requiring professional sound or lighting, there is an additional $35 Tech Equipment Fee and a $35/hr Technician Fee. Discounted rates are available for non‑profit and arts groups.
