Out of the Box Project Out of the Box Project is a public art initiative by the Fernie & District Arts Council. Out of the Box is a project where artists transform unexpected items into works of public art. The project started with a focus on transforming dumpsters. We now have so many painted dumpsters in the community (60+) that we have moved onto other surfaces.
